Looking at your photos, I'm struck by how detached they feel from the subject matter. Detached is probably not the right word. When I look at them I feel a sense of observation but just a bit distant from the subject. Not exactly voyueristic. Perhaps more methodical. As if you are a scientist viewing something for the first time. There is an clean, honesty to the vision but without emotion. Looking at Laika, I see her look at you questioningly, as if she's saying, "What are you going to do?"
I'm probably just reading too much into it all. That's what happens when you write when you just wake up.
